Today (21 June) marks World Hydrography Day 2021. This year's theme celebrates "100 years of international cooperation in hydrography" and marks a century’s progress in knowledge and technology, thanks to global partnerships across the hydrographic community.

To celebrate this theme, we have created a short video to showcase the UK Hydrographic Office’s rich history of partnerships. This includes the 140 collaborative partnerships established across the globe and our Primary Charting Authority responsibilities for 71 coastal states, to the work carried out through our International Hydrographic Programmes and International Training.

By strengthening these partnerships, together we look forward to the next 100 years of international cooperation in hydrography.

Description

The UK Hydrographic Office has a rich history of partnerships since its formation in 1795.
