As Head of Technical Partnerships, Tom leads the UKHO’s collaboration with technical partners including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to enable the development of e-navigation products and S-100 solutions for Electronic Chart and Information Display Systems (ECDIS).

Tom works at the forefront of the latest ‘next generation’ navigation technologies to support the implementation of new standards that can help improve safety, efficiency and optimisation.

As Head of Customer Experience, Guy represents the voice of the customer across the UKHO.

After joining the UKHO in 2013, Guy has since managed and developed a breadth of teams across the Customer division including Channel and Licensing, ADMIRALTY Asia Pacific, Market Insight, Customer Services and Technical Product Management. In his current role, Guy now works with colleagues to ensure a world-class service provision to our customers and end users across the globe.

Antonio is a former shipmaster and hydrographer with over a decade of experience in maritime simulation. Based at Carnival Corporation’s CSMART facility in the Netherlands, he leads advanced simulation studies focused on navigation in confined waters, applying safety science theory to real-world operations. He works closely with captains, pilots, port authorities and hydrographic offices worldwide, and is the author of two respected industry books on bridge resource management and pilotage.

Johan is a seasoned ferry operator who has served with Stena Line since 2002, progressing to Master in 2023. With experience across 11 different ferry routes, he brings a practical, mariner’s-eye view to the discussion. As Master of the Stena Vinga, Johan is currently supporting live S-100 sea trials with the UKHO, offering direct feedback on how S-100 data performs on the bridge in operational settings.
