S-100 in focus: Join our live panel at LISW 2025
Discover how the next generation of navigational data could shape the future of maritime decision making. Titled S-100 in focus, this free-to-attend event will explore the real-world impact of the S-100 framework; the next-generation data standard developed by the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) to support safer, smarter and more interoperable decision-making at sea.
Event details
The session will be opened by Elinor Skelley, Chief Customer Officer at the UKHO and facilitated by Guy Mock, Head of Customer Experience. The panel will explore S-100 from diverse perspectives from across the S-100 ecosystem; from data production and software integration to simulation, operational testing and bridge-level application.
- Date: Thursday 18 September 2025
- Time: 11:00 - 13:30 BST (Registration from 10:30)
- Venue: Sea Containers, 18 Upper Ground, London SE1 9RQ

Body"Through this panel discussion, we hope to support shared understanding across the maritime community and help professionals prepare for what lies ahead."
Meet the panel
The discussion will reflect early findings from this year’s S-100 sea trials, part of a wider research and development effort led by the UKHO and its partners. These live trials are testing how S-100 performs in operational settings and helping shape the industry’s readiness for implementation. Attendees will be able to ask questions during an interactive Q&A and network with peers over lunch, overlooking the Thames.
